Jeff and Jean have a combined 35 years in the sushi industry and want to help give you the benefit of their knowledge.
Recently awarded Chef of the Year 2009 by Chef de Cuisine, Jeff Roberto and the team at Sushi on a Roll provide the ultimate Live Sushi Experience not only at their home at SOARbar, but at any venue or site. Jeff Roberto is the 16 year owner and founder of Sushi on a Roll Inc., a sushi catering service and private sushi bar in San Diego, CA. Jean Giron is the Director of Operations at Sushi on a Roll and has been with Jeff for almost 10 years.
Together Jeff and Jean have taken sushi to just about every edge, at any type of location. Sushi on a Roll works with San Diego’s finest hotels, catering companies, event planners, corporations, country clubs, event venues, attractions, yacht companies, celebrity chefs, and celebrities. Jeff has consulted on many sushi projects but one he speaks of the most is helping Junior Seau design Raw Mana Sushi Bar within the famous Seau’s Restaurant in San Diego. Jeff has been flown to movie sets just to provide his sushi artistry to the stars who call it the “best”. In 2009 SOAR will be participating in the Red Bull Air races, the Jimmy Johnson Golf Tournament, the Playboy Golf Tournament,and Special Olympics to name a few.
Sushibartv is the visionary collaboration of Jeff Roberto, Jean Giron and Hilary Rossi, the newest member of SOAR and its GM / VP. Hilary brought in the very talented Kevin Workman, founder of X-Sanguin Studios, to professionally film and produce this vision, to provide sushi fun for all!
